The Newfoundland Club of America (NCA) Draft Test is a series of exercises intended to develop and demonstrate the abilities of Newfies in a working situation. The Draft Test is comprised of six exercises. All exercises must be passed to earn the NCA Draft Dog title (DD). Newfoundlands can also earn the Team Draft Dog (TDD) title by completing the same exercises while harnessed side-by-by side with another dog.

• Maneuvering Course and Basic Commands
• Freight Load
• Out of Sight Stay
• Distance Freight Haul (with Intriguing Distraction)
