The focus of this seminar is for people and Newfoundland Dogs who are new to Water Work.  Initial Water Work training begins on land with a focus on foundation behaviors.  We will discuss the transition from land to water.  There will be multiple behavior stations and each participant will rotate through each station with their dog.

You will not need any equipment for the seminar, but we will review what equipment is needed.

What to bring:

Your dog

LOTS of high value treats.  Keeping the size of the individual treats small is recommended as you will be giving a lot.

Water for your dog

A crate for you dog to settle in.  This is essential as there are times you will be helping others or your dog is tired.  Your dog needs a safe place while you are not working with him/her.

**Please note there is a parking fee for the State park or a Discovery Pass is required.
