The focus of this seminar is for people and Newfoundland Dogs who are new to Water Work.  This sessions will start transitioning into the water. Please remember to practice Take-Hold-Give before the seminar. Expect to get wet and dress accordingly - water shorts, bathing suit, wet suit, etc.

What to bring:

CRATE FOR YOUR DOG (This is important - please contact Erin, Melody or Jo if you do not have a crate) 

A crate for you dog to settle in is essential as there are times you will be helping others or your dog is tired.  Your dog needs a safe place while you are not working with him/her. If someone is holding your dog on a leash your dog could break away, especially if you are in the water calling another dog for help.

We will have a limited number of audit spots for people to attend, learn the basics and learn about stewarding. Auditors should leave their dogs at home and bring water shoes and a life jacket so you can participate in exercises in the water.
