Hi fellow newf lovers! My name is Ivy Surdi and I have owned newfoundlands for 17 years. Along the way I have had some great groomers and some not-so-great groomers, and all of them inspired me to learn how to do it myself! I have been doing my own grooming for almost 6 years, and I now have my own shop where over 40 newf friends come to see me for spa days. I offer everything from basic baths, to show grooms, and everything in-between. I am so excited to share my passion with you. I hope to help encourage owners and give them the confidence to begin grooming at home. Our seminar will cover information including bathing, drying, deshedding, trimming, and nail care. You are welcome to bring your newf with you to practice or receive guidance regarding grooming specific concerns. No bathing will take place at the seminar, we will simply cover the concept so please bring a clean dry dog and any tools you use at home.
