Judges: Denise Castonguay and Karrie Cook
The test is held at Camp McCullough (campmccullough.us) and is made up of 40 acres of mostly wooded property with private beachfront on Pipe Lake. Included are two beach entries, one with a bulkhead and one without, a wooded area, several buildings including a main lodge, and a large grassy area. The woods are within 20 feet of the water’s edge. The test site has a sand and gravel beach approximately 110 feet wide and 10-15 feet deep depending on the water level. There is a shaded grassy area between the beach, woods, and lodging. The water is very clear with the depth increasing gradually, and dogs should be swimming within 10 feet. There is a raised dock outside the test area on the right side of the beach. Depending on the water level, it could be several feet between the bottom of the dock and the lake surface. There will be stewards assigned to monitor the test from the top of the dock. All dogs not currently being tested must be securely crated or on lead and under control.
